A week without phones sounds amazing. And a key ingredient is that they’re DOING STUFF while they aren’t on their phones. I feel like boring teachers ask kids not to be on their phones but then don’t offer anything interesting to do. I love that you take kids out of the traditional school context and get them to experiment with extended time without phones. And then talk with them about what they notice and how the experience will inform the way they decide to use/not use their phones moving forward. And the capitalist critique, of course, get them in on that, too! Man, I really do miss working with you, friend.
